Hi, I’m Bronwyn.

Photographer, creative, passionate advocate for women, professional hype girl and the woman behind Bettie Bombshell Photography.

I created Bettie Bombshell because women deserve a space where they can be completely themselves, without judgement, comparison or expectations about how they should look, behave or show up.

After more than 25 years behind the camera, including over 15 years specialising in photographing women, I’ve learned that there is no single way to be beautiful, confident, feminine or fabulous.

Every woman has her own story. I want to photograph yours.



Why I created Bettie Bombshell

My photography journey began with my first SLR film camera and a serious passion for photography. In 2001, I used money my mum left me after she passed away to study photography full time. She believed in my dream, and that opportunity changed the direction of my life.

Over the years, I discovered where my heart truly belonged: photographing women.

Bettie Bombshell grew from that passion—a space created specifically for women, where you don’t have to fit anyone else’s idea of beauty. You can bring your whole self: your body, personality, confidence, insecurities, history, quirks, femininity, ambition, scars, strength and story.

This is about you, too

You don’t need to know how to pose, what to do with your hands or arrive feeling confident. That’s my job.

I’ll guide, direct and encourage you, while creating a relaxed environment where you can let yourself be seen. I don’t want to give you photographs of someone you don’t recognise.

I want you to look at your images and think:

“There I am.”

Whether you’re celebrating your body through a luxury boudoir experience, stepping into the fabulous world of vintage PinUp or showing the woman behind your business through Personal Branding, your experience will be personal.

You are not a template, and your experience shouldn’t be either.

A space for every woman

Bettie Bombshell is for all women—different ages, bodies, backgrounds, stories and reasons for stepping in front of the camera.

I’m especially passionate about women who have become disconnected from their bodies, confidence or sense of self. Life changes us, and sometimes we lose sight of the woman we used to know.

Photography can’t change your story, but seeing yourself differently can change how you feel about the woman living it.

That matters to me.

Beyond the photographs

I’m here to create beautiful images, but I’m also here for the experience. I want you to feel comfortable, looked after and free to have fun. I want you to feel proud of yourself for doing something entirely for you.

And if you leave feeling more confident, more connected to yourself and thinking, “Bloody hell, I actually look amazing,” then I’ll consider it a very good day at work.
